THE MISSION
Most furniture is a one-way transaction.
You buy it. You use it. You throw it out — because nothing about it was designed to go anywhere else. The foam is glued to the frame. The fabric is stapled over the foam.
Oban is the opposite. We design objects to come apart, wear in, get repaired, and come back to us when you're finished with them. Built for people who would've bought vintage if they could find anything new worth trusting.
